“Tesla Energía y Desarrollo SL” (TED) is a project development company specialized in renewable energy in emerging countries.

TED strategy is to provide high value-added services to renewable energy companies in order to obtain maximum return over their investments and to secure the full development of their projects from A to Z (market analysis; project identification; permits and licenses;business plan development; financing structure; project execution).

TED team has accumulated experience for over 25years in developing projects in more than 60 worldwide. This expertise allows us to provide high-quality services with different business models and different applications, either in on-grid projects (large-scale power plants for Independent Power Producers – IPP) and in off-grid projects (decentralized energy services providers).

TED focus in emerging markets is based on the energy needs to sustain the growth of these economies and to provide electricity to areas with less efficient and clean technologies to provide clean and efficient electricity to these less favored communities.

We strongly believe that we can combine profitable investments in renewable energies with strong benefits to local population in terms of reliable electricity supply for industries and commercial activities, housing and community services (schools; health centers; etc.).

TED benefits from a large network of partners covering the whole value chain: investors, developers, manufacturers of components, EPC contractors, financial institutions and energy operators.

TED is currently developing several projects in Africa, America and Asia. Some of these projects include large-scale solar projects in India (200 MW), wind and solar projects in Costa Rica (50 MW) and decentralized energy rural services in Western Africa.

TED plan to extend its activities to South East Asia, Mexico, Brazil and North Africa.
